Position: Data Center Operations Manager Role
Location: Omineca and Yellowhead (Smithers)

Lead data center activities as a Data Center Operations Manager with a hands-on approach. Oversee deployments in power, networking, and HPC environments, while ensuring successful project execution.

With 3–5 years in data center support, you will coordinate deployment efforts, manage local contractors, and provide crucial onsite presence. Strong knowledge in infrastructure deployment is essential as you drive operational success by validating cable setups and monitoring progress. Your organizational skills will be key in reporting and coordinating with teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily onsite data center operations and activities

• Supervise deployment work involving power and network infrastructure

• Coordinate and oversee local contractors and remote teams

• Perform validation, including resets, swaps, and verifications

• Monitor and resolve deployment progress issues

Requirements:

• 3–5 years in data center infrastructure deployment

• Proven experience managing deployment projects

• Strong knowledge of networking and cabling systems

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and organization skills
