Shape data-driven growth at Destination Greater Victoria as Director of Data Strategy and Insights. Drive strategic decisions through actionable insights from complex data and research while working in a hybrid model.

In this full-time, hybrid position, you will partner closely with the CEO, leading data platform strategy and enterprise risk insights.

Your role will transform external research and government data into decision-ready insights that guide all levels of the organization. Collaborate with various leaders to enhance data quality, identify trends, and unlock value for sustainable tourism development in Greater Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop data management and analytics strategies

• Translate complex data into clear insights for decision-makers

• Collaborate with multiple teams to identify trends

• Optimize usage of data platforms like Power BI and Snowflake

• Lead risk awareness and strategic analysis across the organization

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

• 2–5 years of data analytics experience

• Proficiency with Power BI, Excel, and other analytics tools

• Strong communication skills for all audiences

• Familiarity with data environments like Snowflake
