Senior Data Analyst with Snowflake and data integration tools for our travel and transportation client

Work Mode - % remote

Start date:

August 3rd or before if possible

End date:

-06-20 with possible extension

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to perform requirements analysis and refine functional and technical specifications
  • Prepare Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents with accurate data definitions, transformation logic, and mapping rules
  • Analyze, interpret, and validate data to support business needs and data engineering processes
  • Work closely with data engineers, architects, and business teams to ensure data quality and alignment with solution designs
  • Support ETL/ELT development processes by providing detailed mapping, data rules, and validation inputs
  • Participate in data model reviews and contribute to the design and improvement of data structures in the warehouse environment.

    Skills and Experience:

  • Strong proficiency in SQL
    , with hands‑on experience using Snowflake (highly preferred)
  • Solid understanding of data modeling techniques, including dimensional modeling, data vault modeling, and medallion architecture
  • Good knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts, cloud data platforms, and modern data warehouse practices
  • Experience working with structured and semi‑structured data
  • Experience with Snowflake-specific features (e.g., stages, virtual warehouses, Snowpipe)
  • Experience with data integration tools (e.g., dbt,
    Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Talend)
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks

  • Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Python Notebooks
