In this role, you’ll work in one of our  IBM Consulting Future Now Centers , where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities    Design and Configure Solutions:  Analyze business requirements and design solutions that meet client needs, ensuring successful project delivery by leveraging knowledge of SAP FIN FM and working with the latest technologies.
Deliver Comprehensive Solutions:  Develop and implement solutions, focusing on simplicity, amplification, and maintainability, while working across technical design, development, and implementation.
Collaborate with Clients and Teams:  Embody IBM core values, building trust with clients and team members through clear communications, inclusivity, curiosity, and innovation in all interactions.
Implement Solutions:  Utilize business and industry knowledge to integrate packaged technology solutions, ensuring effective solution delivery that meets client expectations.
Ensure Successful Project Delivery:  Work directly with customers to deliver high-quality results, providing trusted business advice with a deep understanding of SAP FIN FI solutions.
Required education  Associate's Degree/College Diploma
Preferred education  Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise    SAP FIN FM Solution Expertise:  

Experience with SAP Funds Management solutions,including Budget Control System (BCS), availability control, and budgeting posting logic. Translate client budget rules, fiscal year change operations, and public sector policies into functional SAP designs. Manage integration touchpoints between SAP FM and core modules like FI (General Ledger/AR/AP), CO (Controlling), PS (Project Systems), and MM (Materials Management). Deep understanding of budgetary ledger structures, commitment items, funds centers, and fund types.

Hands-on experience configuring Budget Derivation Rules (FMDERIVER) to automate coding structures
Business Requirements Analysis:  Exposure to analyzing business requirements and designing solutions that ensure successful project delivery.
Techno-Functional Solution Expertise:  

Experience with integrating packaged technology solutions, utilizing business and industry knowledge, and business processes.
Solution Development and Implementation:  Exposure to developing and implementing solutions, focusing on simplicity, amplification, and maintainability.
Industry Knowledge and Business Acumen:  

Experience with leveraging business and industry knowledge to deliver high-quality results and provide trusted business advice.
Preferred technical and professional experience    SAP Industry Solutions Knowledge:  Exposure to industry-specific solutions and knowledge of how they can be applied to meet client needs, leveraging SAP FIN FI expertise to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Business Process Improvement:  Experience working with business processes and utilizing techno-functional solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology solutions and improve client outcomes.
Emerging Technology Awareness:  Exposure to the latest technologies and trends in SAP FIN FI, with the ability to analyze and apply this knowledge to drive innovative solution development and implementation.
