IT Services Specialist

Position: IT Services Specialist at Centerra Gold
Location: Fort St. James

As a crucial member of the Mount Milligan IT team, your primary responsibility will include desktop and network support. You will manage Hyper-V/VMWare clusters, troubleshoot advanced network infrastructure, and assist end-users at the mine site. This role involves collaboration with global IT teams to uphold cybersecurity standards and improve IT services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain Hyper-V/VMWare HA clusters

• Troubleshoot network infrastructure including firewalls and switches

• Install and configure user hardware and peripherals

• Provide prompt IT support for mine site end-users

• Document processes and maintain IT technical documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• Minimum 3 years IT support experience

• Strong knowledge of network and server administration

• Valid class 5 driver’s license

• Willingness to travel to remote sites
