Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and workplace technology across The Shaw Group’s divisions from Lantz, Nova Scotia.
This IT Support Specialist provides first- and second-level assistance for devices, accounts, access, connectivity, and business applications. You will administer delegated Microsoft 365 and Active Directory functions, support Exchange Online, and help users resolve technology issues. The position reports to the Director of IT and receives daily direction from the IT Operations Lead.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing accounts, groups, permissions, MFA, and licensing
- Supporting One Drive, SharePoint, and Exchange Online access
- Resolving device, connectivity, and application issues
- Preparing, imaging, and deploying standardized devices
- Providing in-person, phone, and Teams support
- Information Technology diploma, degree, or related technical education
- One to three years supporting end users independently
- Hands-on Active Directory and Microsoft 365 experience
- Windows 11 troubleshooting and TCP/IP networking fundamentals
- Clear documentation and technical communication for non-technical employees
