Location: Kinngait
Become an Auto Product and Underwriting Specialist with Square One in Alberta. This full-time, permanent role focuses on developing innovative insurance products and enhancing underwriting practices to meet client needs.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to craft underwriting strategies while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Your analytical mindset will be key in interpreting data insights and evaluating complex underwriting files to foster the growth of Square One's auto insurance portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop underwriting strategies and product offerings
• Maintain current underwriting guides for consistency
• Review complex files to support claims and legal teams
• Leverage data for decision-making and priorities
• Monitor industry trends for competitive strategy
Requirements:
• Relevant degree or diploma required
• 3+ years in auto insurance underwriting
• High proficiency with technology and MS Office
• Familiarity with insurance legislation in your area
• CAIB, CIP, or FCIP designation preferred
