Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite and analyze complex marine insurance risks

• Build and review relationships with key brokers for business growth

• Negotiate competitive terms with various carriers

• Train and support junior underwriters in best practices

• Engage in marketing efforts to enhance company visibility

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education

• 5 years of Marine Insurance experience requisite

• Significant underwriting knowledge required

• 1-2 years of supervisory experience ideal

• Provincial License or eligibility required
