The Unconventional seeks a skilled Interpreter to assist during the pivotal CHOD Conference from August 30 to September 2, 2026.

Your role will focus on providing simultaneous and consecutive interpretations, ensuring clarity in military and diplomatic discussions.

Experience with military terminology and equipment is vital for success in this temporary assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide simultaneous language interpretations during all conference sessions

• Deliver consecutive interpretation for bilateral discussions

• Ensure clear grammar and context in military dialogues

• Utilize venue equipment for effective communication

• Maintain confidentiality of all interpreted content

Requirements:

• Minimum proficiency level of 4/4/4/4 in interpreting

• Documented experience with similar events required

• Fluency in both written and spoken Mandarin and English

• Familiarity with military and diplomatic terminology preferred

• Pass a Background Check
