Peace Over Violence seeks a Senior Family Law Staff Attorney to provide legal support for survivors in Pasadena, CA. Emphasizing a collaborative and trauma-informed approach, this role is integral to the community.

In this position, you will be responsible for family law representation, including divorce and custody matters, while also engaging in community outreach and mentorship of legal advocates. Candidates must have strong litigation skills and a commitment to social justice, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to support survivors effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal representation in restraining order cases

• Ensure timely communication with clients about legal options

• Conduct education sessions regarding family law rights

• Maintain detailed documentation and case records

• Foster partnerships with community organizations

Requirements:

• Current member of the California State Bar

• At least 3 years of family law practice experience

• Strong advocacy and legal writing skills

• Understanding of domestic violence dynamics

• Bilingual proficiency, especially in Spanish, preferred
