Help uphold law and order as an Experienced Police Constable with the Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service. This role focuses on community-based policing in Wikwemikong Unceded Territory.

The Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service invites applications from qualified Canadian police officers. Your duties will encompass crime prevention, responding to service calls, and supporting community initiatives. Emphasizing cultural competence, you will actively participate in events that strengthen community ties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preserve peace and prevent crime in the community

• Assist crime victims and engage with community members

• Apprehend criminals and manage related prosecutions

• Execute warrants as part of policing duties

• Support community events and cultural activities

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Police College Certificate required

• Diploma in Police Foundations or Law and Criminal Justice preferred

• Must hold a valid class G Ontario Driver License

• Current First Aid/CPR Certificates necessary

• Awareness of First Nation traditions is essential
