The Legal Assistant role requires coordination of essential legal services under the guidance of Legal Counsel. Your responsibilities will include drafting affidavits, managing court forms, and conducting comprehensive legal research. You'll assist in various legal tasks including the preparation of personal information requests.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare affidavits and various legal documents timely
• Ensure accuracy in all court documentation
• Conduct legal research for case support
• Assist in assembling evidence for trials
• Draft necessary correspondence for legal matters
Requirements:
• Law related diploma (Clerk, Assistant, or Paralegal)
• Ontario Driver’s License (class ‘G’) required
• Access to a vehicle for potential travel
• Must live within the service area or be willing to relocate
• Police Record Check and insurance documentation required
