Be a part of Trans Union's mission as an Advisor Legal Counsel in a hybrid role, where you will provide comprehensive legal support and guidance on critical business decisions. Your expertise in privacy and corporate law will ensure compliance across the organization.
In this role, you will apply your 3-5 years of experience in law, enhancing Trans Union's operations by providing legal advice on consumer reporting legislation and corporate policies. Bilingual candidates in English and French will enjoy an advantage as you navigate complex legal frameworks and advocate for best practices within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as legal counsel on varied complex matters
• Review and draft complex contracts and agreements
• Provide legal advice on data transfer issues
• Monitor regulatory developments impacting business
• Train internal staff on legal compliance
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in law (civil or common)
• 3-5 years of legal experience
• Local law society membership required
• Bilingual English and French preferred
• Proficient in legal technology tools
