As a key player in the Office of the CAO Department, you will coordinate legal files, conduct essential research, and prepare legal documentation.

Your role will enhance legal services delivery and reduce reliance on external counsel through effective property acquisition and contract administration. This is a full-time position offering 35 hours weekly, with a wage range of $44.90 to $51.02 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain confidential legal files and document management systems

• Monitor litigation schedules and agreement requirements

• Support property transactions and land dealings

• Prepare closing documents and manage legal filings

• Liaise with town departments and external counsel

Requirements:

• Post Secondary Diploma in Law Clerk studies or equivalent

• Minimum three years in a law clerk role

• Experience in municipal or real estate law

• Knowledge of electronic records systems

• Strong legal research and analytical skills
