Location: Saint-Laurent-d'Orléans
Join ABB as a Buyer and contribute to our Power Reliability division in Montreal, QC. This hybrid role focuses on purchasing materials efficiently to meet technical specifications and timelines.
As a Buyer, you'll report to the Purchasing Manager and ensure purchasing activities adhere to corporate policies. Your expertise will be essential in identifying new suppliers in collaboration with the category team while maintaining procurement standards and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Initiate Purchase Orders aligned with requisitions
• Expedite open and long lead-time orders
• Notify stakeholders of delivery date changes
• Prepare and implement procurement plans
• Maintain coordination with production teams
Requirements:
• 3–5 years in procurement and supply chain
• Skilled in ERP systems (SAP) and procurement platforms
• Proficient in Advanced Excel and Share Point
• Degree in Supply Chain Management
• Bilingual in English and French
Utilize your expertise in procurement at ABB while balancing vendor performance and production needs.
