Position: Buyer I Role in Wood Buffalo
Location: Northeastern Alberta (Fort Chipewyan)

In this role, you will support the Corporate Services Division by processing purchase orders, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting various departments in procurement related tasks. Candidates should have a solid foundation in public procurement and be capable of functioning independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct direct purchases and procurement services

• Manage requisitions and contracts for services

• Collaborate with client departments to resolve discrepancies

• Manage vendor research and prepare solicitations

• Ensure purchase specifications are accurately documented

Requirements:

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management or related program

• One year of related procurement experience

• Familiarity with government purchasing regulations

• Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
