Key Responsibilities:

• Provide procurement services ensuring best value for municipal departments

• Advise on purchasing issues and the contracting process

• Apply policies, Canadian law, and best practices for procurement

• Manage sourcing, evaluation, and competitive bidding processes

• Oversee contract formation, logistics, and whole-life costing

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent completed

• One year of post-secondary education in a related field

• Minimum three years’ purchasing experience, preferably in public sector

• Knowledge of procurement methods and laws

• Strong grasp of logistics and inventory management
