As a member of the Global Purchasing Organization, your focus will be on developing robust purchasing strategies aligned with the goals of the Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group. You will manage RFQs, negotiate supplier contracts, and ensure optimal cost structures while fostering strong supplier relationships. Engage with teams across the organization to implement cost-saving initiatives effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive commodity strategies for assigned categories

• Evaluate supplier cost structures to ensure value optimization

• Negotiate supplier contracts and agreements

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to enhance purchasing operations

• Monitor market conditions and report critical issues to management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

• 3-5 years of experience in automotive purchasing

• Experience with commodity management and supplier negotiations

• Willing to travel around 20% as needed

• Understanding of quality management systems and industry standards
