Facilities Operations Coordinator at Grain Millers

Grain Millers seeks a Facilities Operations Coordinator to enhance office administration and logistics efficiency. This role includes grain accounting, operational support, and supplier education.

In this position, you will coordinate daily operations at our grain handling facility. The role requires a minimum of two years post-secondary education or relevant experience, along with strong customer service and basic accounting skills. You will collaborate closely with the Elevator Manager and operations staff to streamline processes and ensure compliance with quality specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage office administration and grain accounting functions

• Coordinate inbound loads and outbound shipments efficiently

• Provide operational support for binning and blending

• Maintain producer documents, including organic certifications

• Educate suppliers on quality specifications and impacts

Requirements:

• Two years post-secondary education or equivalent experience

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions
