Perioperative Supply Chain Specialist

Location: Kent (Blenheim)

Apply supply chain expertise to perioperative services across Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and Bluewater Health, supporting Strategic Sourcing onsite part time.
Mohawk Medbuy Corporation seeks a Perioperative Supply Chain Specialist for a 12-month contract supporting surgical services. The position coordinates procurement, inventory, product conversions, utilisation analysis, and process improvement with Operating Room teams, physicians, Stores, Medical Device Reprocessing, and MMC divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate Operating Room contracts, product trials, and evaluation committees
Place orders, source suppliers, and coordinate deliveries
Review GHX procurement records and resolve discrepancies
Analyze utilization data and support efficiency improvements
Maintain inventory, preference cards, reports, and business cases
Requirements:
Related three-year college diploma or university degree preferred
Four to six years healthcare supply chain experience an asset
Advanced perioperative and supply chain management knowledge
Proficient Excel skills, including pivot tables
Reliable vehicle and travel throughout Erie St. Clair required
Support compliant procurement, cost management, and surgical supply optimization as a Perioperative Supply Chain Specialist with Mohawk Medbuy Corporation.
