Classification: Part-Time, Casual

Salary: $17.75 to $20.00 per hour

The Fox Golf Club is currently seeking a mechanically-minded individual to help maintain our fleet of over 110+ items of equipment, ranging from golf carts to mowers.

This is a casual, part-time seasonal position (May – October) averaging 16 to 20 hours per week. We offer flexible weekday hours, though some Saturday morning shifts are required during the training period. Additional hours for grass mowing are also available if desired.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Performing oil changes, fluid level checks, and battery maintenance.
• Greasing equipment and inspecting, repairing, or changing tires.
• Welding and repairing mechanical defects in golf course maintenance equipment.
• Adjusting mowers for cutting quality (training provided).
• Overhauling powered equipment, including engines, brakes, and transmissions.
• Maintaining an orderly shop and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies.

Qualifications:

• Mechanical experience with small engines or turf equipment preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• A valid driver's license is preferred.
