Become a vital part of Nova Scotia Health as an Environmental Services Worker at Roseway Hospital. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness in patient and visitor areas on a casual relief basis.

In this position, you report to the Assistant Manager of Facility Support Services. Responsibilities include cleaning all assigned units and common areas, with tasks like mopping, dusting, and vacuuming furniture. Upholding safety, quality, and ethical standards is essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure cleanliness of patient rooms and public spaces

• Perform mopping, dusting, and vacuuming daily

• Buff and refinish floors as per schedules

• Move furniture and arrange spaces as needed

• Change and clean curtains and drapes routinely

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 or relevant experience

• Strong commitment to ethical and safe practices

• Ability to maintain confidentiality is crucial

• Reliable vehicle for possible travel required

• Proficient with cleaning equipment; knowledge of French preferred
