Technician at Six Nations

Position: Full-Time Technician at Six Nations
Location: West Haldimand (Port Dover)

Support the community's recreational spaces as a Full-Time Maintenance Technician with Six Nations of the Grand River. This role includes performing maintenance and custodial work to maintain safe, clean facilities for all users.

Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Technician, you will perform critical duties, including general repairs, facility inspections, and grounds maintenance. Your ability to respond to community needs and manage events will ensure a welcoming atmosphere at all Park and Recreation facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute custodial and maintenance tasks across assigned sites

• Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance needs

• Ensure safety through thorough daily inspections

• Aid in setting up for events and tournaments

• Carry out emergency and weather-related procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, trade-related education a plus

• Physically capable of performing varied maintenance duties

• Commitment to learning and obtaining necessary certifications

• Familiarity with building and facility systems

• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
