Become an essential part of the Environmental Services team at Alberta Health Services as a Cleaner/Housekeeper. Help create clean and safe environments for staff, patients, and families.

In this casual/relief position, based at Elk Point Healthcare Centre, you will undertake a variety of cleaning responsibilities to support health and safety standards. Your tasks will range from sweeping and mopping to performing deep cleans and maintaining supplies. Work with industrial cleaning tools to ensure the facility remains pleasant and hygienic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough cleaning in clinical and public areas

• Strip linens, make beds, and restock necessary supplies

• Identify and report hazards within the facility

• Perform specialized cleaning tasks as needed

• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment efficiently

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 10 or higher

• Proficient in cleaning methods and equipment use

• Physically capable of lifting 25-50 lbs regularly

• Strong communication skills required

• Previous housekeeping experience is beneficial
