Position: Full-Time Labourer at Baytex Energy Centre
Location: Peace River

Become part of the Town of Peace River's Community Service Department as a Full-Time Labourer at the Baytex Energy Centre. This role focuses on operational tasks including ice resurfacing, clean-up, and snow removal.

The Town of Peace River is seeking a motivated individual for the temporary role of Labourer. You will perform essential duties at the Baytex Energy Centre, ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities include operating the ice resurfacer and maintaining cleanliness while providing excellent public interaction skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the ice resurfacer for rink maintenance

• Remove garbage and recyclables throughout the facility

• Handle janitorial tasks to maintain cleanliness

• Perform snow removal duties as required

• Work collaboratively with team members during shifts

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

• Experience with ice resurfacer operation (Zamboni)

• Level 1 Arena Operators Certificate preferred

• Strong self-motivation and public interaction skills

• Ability to work evenings and weekends as scheduled
