About the Role
Are you a hands-on problem solver with a knack for keeping systems running smoothly? Gibbons Whistler is seeking a General Maintenance Technician with  HVAC experience  to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, loves learning, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
As part of our maintenance crew, you’ll work across our venues—helping ensure our bars, restaurants, hotels, and offices are always in top shape. Your work will include HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance, alongside general maintenance tasks, all contributing to creating exceptional spaces for our guests and teams.
Wage and Perks

What You Bring
1–2 years of experience in HVAC, building, hotel, or general maintenance
Hands-on knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems is an asset
Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive attitude
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
Positive outlook and commitment to supporting our venues and team
What You’ll Do
Perform general maintenance tasks across multiple Gibbons Whistler venues
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and related equipment
Assist with repairs, renovations, and general maintenance projects
Support preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
Collaborate with team members and venue managers to address maintenance needs promptly
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
