Help keep Our Place Society facilities clean and welcoming as a Facilities Maintenance Worker. This casual role involves routine cleaning, maintenance, and ensuring a sanitary environment.

As a Facilities Maintenance Worker with Our Place Society, you will perform essential cleaning tasks and minor facility maintenance. You are expected to manage refuse disposal, perform laundry duties, and follow safety protocols using specialized cleaning chemicals. This position requires working collaboratively while also handling tasks independently, ensuring a pleasant environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect building areas thoroughly

• Perform minor maintenance tasks on facilities

• Manage refuse and maintain clean refuse areas

• Set up furniture for meetings and functions

• Secure buildings by arming alarms and locking doors

Requirements:

• Grade 10 education with WHMIS certification

• Minimum of six months relevant experience

• Ability to lift 40 lbs and follow safety protocols

• Knowledge of cleaning methods and chemicals

• Strong communication skills for teamwork
