Facilities Maintenance Manager for Recreation

Location: Perth-Andover

Lead the maintenance operations for municipal facilities as the Recreation Facilities Maintenance Manager in Perth-Andover. This in-person position focuses on safety, cleanliness, and efficient functionality of facilities.

In your role reporting to the CAO, you will manage maintenance projects and supervise recreation facility operations. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that municipal facilities are routinely inspected and maintained, allowing the community to engage in safe activities.

Your role is crucial in directing maintenance staff and ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections and oversee facility maintenance

• Lead staff in maintenance and janitorial duties

• Handle scheduling for maximum productivity

• Manage ordering of necessary maintenance supplies

• Ensure landscaping and snow removal tasks are completed

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant maintenance experience

• Preferred diploma or certification in a related field

• High competency in Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
