Position: Zhiibaahaasing First Nation Custodian (Part-Time)
Location: Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands

Support Zhiibaahaasing First Nation as a Custodian, focusing on cleanliness and maintenance tasks in a part-time capacity. Ensure a hygienic environment during 10-15 hours of work each week.

This permanent part-time custodian position involves cleaning the Band Office and complex, ensuring all areas are sanitized and well-maintained. Your responsibilities will include daily cleaning tasks, monitoring supplies, and reporting any maintenance issues. This role suits candidates with strong attention to detail and experience in cleaning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general cleaning duties such as mopping and sweeping

• Sanitize restrooms and communal areas regularly

• Execute periodic deep cleans and floor waxing

• Replenish cleaning supplies and monitor inventory

• Report any safety hazards or maintenance needs immediately

Requirements:

• Experience in custodial work or building maintenance preferred

• Knowledge of cleaning methods and safety protocols

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds

• Ability to work independently and responsibly
