Position: Southern Health-Santé Sud Maintenance Role
Location: South Central Manitoba (Altona)

Elevate your career in maintenance with Southern Health-Santé Sud at Boundary Trails Health Centre. This permanent, in-person position requires hands-on skills in building maintenance and system monitoring.

In this role, the Maintenance Worker 1 will report directly to the Lead of Physical Plant Services. You will manage various systems, engage in preventative maintenance practices, and respond to urgent work orders while supporting a diverse healthcare environment that prioritizes community well-being and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor medical and building-related systems

• Respond efficiently to work orders as needed

• Execute preventative maintenance tasks diligently

• Apply independent judgment in prioritizing tasks

• Collaborate with a range of community stakeholders

Requirements:

• Two years' experience in a maintenance role

• Skills in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry

• High school diploma or equivalency

• Required valid Class 5 driver’s license

• Familiarity with safe work practices and legislation
