Position: Indoor Pool Operator Role in Ajax
Location: Whitby Region (Gormley)

Join the Town of Ajax as an Indoor Pool Operator, responsible for ensuring pool cleanliness and safety for all visitors. This position demands proactive facility management and public supervision.

As a Pool Operator, you will manage the daily operation of the swimming pool and oversee cleaning staff. This role is crucial for maintaining the pool's water quality, performing repairs, and ensuring a pleasant visitor experience. You'll also be responsible for completing logs, securing the facility, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure pool water quality with chemical management

• Supervise part-time cleaning staff ensuring high standards

• Log all necessary reports related to operations

• Perform minor repairs and assist in facility maintenance

• Guide events and setups according to the schedule

Requirements:

• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent

• At least 1 year of related experience

• NSPF Pool Operator certification or equivalent

• Class 'G' Ontario driver's licence with a clean abstract

• Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
