Location: Peace River
Join Alberta Health Services as a reliable Environmental Services cleaner in Peace River. This role focuses on high-quality cleaning and safety within healthcare environments.
As an Environmental Services staff member, you will handle various tasks in clinical and non-clinical settings. Key responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, and using industrial cleaning equipment for floor maintenance. You will also restock supplies, make beds, and be responsible for reporting potential hazards in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and disinfect clinical and non-clinical healthcare areas
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment for floor restoration
• Restock bathroom supplies and replenish linens
• Report potential hazards to your Working Leader
• Provide training to Environmental or Laundry staff as needed
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
• Physically fit to lift up to 25 lbs
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Basic computer and smartphone knowledge
• Previous cleaning experience preferred
