Position: Full-Time Public Works Labourer Role
Location: Norquay

Become a Public Works Labourer with the Town of Norquay, engaged in essential maintenance duties throughout the year.

Your role will include road repairs and winter snow services.

This full-time/part-time position involves a wide range of municipal maintenance responsibilities. You will help maintain roads, sidewalks, and municipal properties while participating in seasonal tasks at the Communiplex. During winter, your focus will be on snow removal and managing ice for community events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain municipal roads consistently

• Operate mowers and landscaping tools efficiently

• Initiate snow removal activities as needed

• Aid in the operation of water and wastewater systems

• Respond to emergency call-outs effectively

Requirements:

• Level 1 Water Distribution Certification required

• Experience with public works operations necessary

• Capable of operating heavy machinery like graders

• Reside within one hour of Norquay

• Valid authorization to work in Canada
