UCDSB Custodial Team Leader Position

Location: Chesterville

As the Head Custodian, you will lead a dedicated team, ensuring adherence to cleaning standards and maintaining equipment. This role demands both technical aptitude and outstanding leadership skills to promote an efficient custodial environment. You will coordinate maintenance tasks and ensure compliance with safety regulations at all facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct custodial tasks and monitor compliance with safety guidelines

• Operate cleaning equipment and oversee maintenance activities

• Implement cleaning schedules and supply management

• Facilitate communication among custodial staff and management

• Conduct facility inspections and document condition reports

Requirements:

• Post-secondary certification in Building Environmental Systems required

• Minimum five years of relevant experience

• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance

• Effective communicator with teamwork skills

• Ability to supervise and motivate custodial staff
