Bottling Line Equipment Maintenance Supervisor Position Information

• Title: Maintenance Team Supervisor
• Department: Maintenance
• Reports to: Maintenance Coordinator
• Status: Full-time, First-Level Management Position

Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, the Maintenance Team Supervisor is responsible for leading, supporting, and engaging maintenance technicians in the day-to-day execution of maintenance activities. The supervisor ensures that priorities, safe work practices, and quality standards are consistently followed to maximize the availability and reliability of production equipment.

• Assign tasks to technicians based on operational priorities.
• Ensure maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and safely.
• Provide first-level technical support and elevate complex issues to the Maintenance Coordinator.
• Coach, motivate, and support the professional development of technicians under their supervision.
• Welcome, onboard, and integrate new team members.
• Foster a collaborative and respectful work environment.

• Conduct daily team meetings to discuss occupational health and safety matters and assign the work to be completed.
• Participate in the planning and organization of corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
• Ensure that all required tools, parts, and documentation are available before maintenance work begins.
• Adjust priorities in response to urgent production needs.

• Review and document completed maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Identify the causes of minor equipment failures and recommend immediate solutions.
• Identify and communicate training needs and opportunities for process improvement to the Maintenance Coordinator.

• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements during all maintenance activities.
• Ensure proper application of lockout/tagout (LOTO) and food safety procedures.
• Report all incidents, accidents, and potential hazards and participate in internal investigations.

• Internal: Maintenance Coordinator, Maintenance Technicians, Production, Quality, and Logistics teams.
• External: Parts suppliers and technical contractors.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose first-level technical issues.
• Familiarity with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

• Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple maintenance activities simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in follow-up activities.
• Effective short-term planning and organizational skills.

• Hands-on leadership skills and the ability to effectively supervise and support a team.
• Clear and constructive communication skills.
• Ability to remain effective and make sound decisions in stressful and emergency situations.

• DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) or DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in Industrial Mechanics, Electromechanics, or a related field.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in industrial maintenance, including at least one (1) year in a team lead or similar supervisory role.
• Experience in the food and beverage industry, industrial environment, or automated manufacturing environment is considered an asset.

• Schedule: Full-time day shift on a 5-5-4 schedule (84 hours over a two-week period).
