Facility Maintenance Operator II Position

Location: Bobcaygeon

Ensure cleanliness and safety at community venues as a Facility Maintenance Operator II with the City of Kawartha Lakes. Part-time hours include flexible shifts from September to March.

We require three Facility Maintenance Operator IIs for the operation and upkeep of arenas and community centers. Responsibilities range from ice maintenance to cleaning and revenue assistance. Candidates should possess strong customer service acumen and mechanical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support maintenance and operation of community facilities

• Conduct ice re-surfacing and maintenance tasks

• Clean washrooms and maintain overall facility hygiene

• Assist in collection of facility revenues

• Perform other assigned related duties

Requirements:

• Experience in ice arena operations or willingness to learn

• Mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance

• Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills

• Must hold a valid Ontario Class 'G' Driver’s Licence

• Background checks are required before employment
