This temporary full-time position at GBGH in Midland, Ontario, requires dedicated Environmental Services Aides to uphold sanitation standards. Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, managing waste, and performing specialized cleaning tasks in clinical units. Key Responsibilities:

• Disinfect patient rooms and non-patient areas thoroughly

• Execute specific cleaning tasks in specialty units

• Replace curtains and maintain cleanliness of equipment

• Operate commercial cleaning machinery with care

• Report any equipment or safety issues immediately

Requirements:

• High school diploma or recognized equivalent necessary

• Familiarity with commercial housekeeping practices is an asset

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Understanding of chemical handling and waste disposal
