Position: Custodial Staff at Bluewater District School Board
Location: Chesley

Make a difference with the Bluewater District School Board as a Temporary Custodian, focusing on providing a clean and safe environment for students and staff. This 30-hour-per-week role on afternoon shifts allows you to support the custodial needs of local schools effectively.

In this role, you will work under the supervision of the Head Custodian, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of school facilities. Duties include adhering to board policies, reporting repairs, and assisting in events with community partners. Your work will ensure safety and functionality for educational environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all board custodial practices and policies

• Complete assigned custodial work with diligence

• Report building repairs and maintenance needs to supervisors

• Execute basic checks and repairs on custodial equipment

• Assist with preparations for community events

Requirements:

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks

• Must have internet access and technology proficiency

• Previous experience in cleaning preferred

• Good communication and teamwork skills necessary
