Position: KRG Airport Maintainer Role Available

Join the Kativik Regional Government team as an Airport Maintainer in Puvirnituq. This permanent, full-time position focuses on maintaining airport operations efficiently with safe equipment handling.

The successful candidate for this Airport Maintainer role will focus on running heavy and light equipment at the airport while maintaining critical infrastructure. Duties include following safety standards in maintaining runways and taxiways, performing minor repairs, and documenting maintenance tasks accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment for runway maintenance

• Maintain access roads and airport grounds

• Repair airport buildings and equipment as necessary

• Complete daily and weekly operational reports

• Participate in airport safety programs

Requirements:

• Minimal experience in heavy equipment operations

• Must possess a valid driver’s license

• Basic computer skills in a Microsoft setting

• Be bilingual in Inuktitut, English, or French

• Familiarity with safety and first aid protocols is beneficial
