The General Labourer provides day-to-day support to site operations by assisting with general maintenance, housekeeping, material handling, groundskeeping, and other labour-related activities. This position works closely with Maintenance, Operations, Warehouse, and other site teams to help maintain a safe, clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Job requirements
Qualifications and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in general labour, industrial operations, construction, maintenance, warehousing, or a similar environment is considered an asset.
Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence preferred.
Telehandler, skid steer, aerial work platform, or other equipment certifications are considered assets.
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is considered an asset.
First Aid certification is considered an asset.
Willingness to complete required company and safety training.

Physical Requirements
Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
Ability to safely lift and carry materials up to approximately 50 lbs.
Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying.
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varied weather conditions.
Ability to safely use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ability to work around industrial equipment and active work areas.
Job responsibilities
Perform general labour duties throughout the site as assigned.
Assist the Maintenance team with routine maintenance activities and basic non-technical tasks.
Support preventative maintenance activities under the direction of qualified personnel.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, shops, storage areas, and common spaces.
Perform general housekeeping including sweeping, cleaning, garbage removal, and maintaining designated work areas.
Assist with snow removal, groundskeeping, and seasonal site maintenance.
Assist with loading, unloading, moving, and staging materials, equipment, and supplies.
Support Warehouse and Logistics activities when required, including organizing and moving materials.
Assist with setup and cleanup for maintenance work, projects, contractor activities, and site events.
Help maintain tools and equipment by cleaning, organizing, and properly storing them after use.
