Maintain a safe, clean hospital environment at Lakeshore General Hospital in Ashern using institutional cleaning and courteous service.
The Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority seeks a Housekeeping Aide for its non-clinical team. Working under the Manager, Support Services or Lead Hand, you will follow schedules, policies, procedures, and safe work procedures. Your work supports patients, residents, families, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform assigned housekeeping duties according to established work schedules
- Maintain safe and clean hospital environments
- Support aesthetically pleasing spaces for patients and visitors
- Provide courteous service to patients, families, and staff
- Follow organizational policies, procedures, and safe work procedures
- Experience in health care or institutional cleaning
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective oral and written English communication
- Ability to perform mental and physical job aspects
- Satisfactory employment record
