Site Services Equipment Operator

The Greenstone Mine commenced production in May 2024 and will be one of Canada's largest open-pit gold mines, with annual production expected to average nearly 400,000 ounces of gold per year for an initial 14-year mine life with additional potential from a large underground deposit. Greenstone Gold Mines LP is owned by Equinox Gold Corp, a Vancouver-based mining company with seven other operating mines in the United States, Mexico and Brazil.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Site Services Equipment Operator to join our team. Reporting to the Site Services Supervisor, this role is responsible for supporting all departmental initiatives with a concentration on preventative maintenance and construction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support all departmental initiatives, with a focus on preventative maintenance and construction initiatives.
• Maintain organized equipment inventory staging areas.
• Perform operational equipment checks.
• Operate mobile equipment and assist with mine and plant operations where possible.
• Load and unload supplies using heavy equipment.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
• Follow health and safety policies to ensure safety and environmental protection.
• Document and report actions, irregularities, and ongoing maintenance requirements.
• Load and secure parts, equipment, and accessories for transport.

• Prior experience in an industrial setting; mine site experience is an asset.
• Equipment operating experience in a mine or industrial environment.

Certifications

Education

The salary range for this position is from $91,447.00 to $97,588.00.
