Reliability & Continuous Improvement Specialist   Introduction   Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Automated Production, or Metallurgical Engineering (or equivalent).

• 5 to 8 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

• Working experience in a unionized setting is a strong asset.

• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

• Good understanding of HSE standards and reliability principles.

• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions

• Annual salary around $110,000

• 10% annual bonus

• 4 weeks of vacation

I’m currently looking for a Reliability & Continuous Improvement Specialist for a well-established manufacturing company located in Montreal East. This role plays a pivotal part in improving production processes, reliability, and overall operational excellence.

Your profile   Your Role
Reporting to the Operations Director, you’ll lead the continuous improvement and reliability initiatives, aiming to enhance safety, quality, equipment performance, and productivity.
Your main responsibilities include:

• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

• Working closely with production, maintenance, engineering, and process teams to identify and resolve downtime or quality issues.

• Leading improvement projects and promoting a culture of operational excellence.

• Tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Driving cost optimization and process efficiency initiatives.

• Leading Kaizen, SMED, 5S workshops, and internal audits.

• Standardizing operational procedures and encouraging best practices across departments.

• Communicating effectively with all levels of the organization.

• Staying up to date with new manufacturing technologies.
