Skilled Mill Operator at Atlantic Operations

Location: Middle Musquodoboit

Become a Mill Operator in our Atlantic Operations at the Touquoy mine, located northeast of Halifax, Nova Scotia. This full-time role requires operational excellence and effective team collaboration.

We seek 16 Mill Operators to work at our Touquoy site, where you will run mill processes, log operational details, and maintain a clean working environment. This role emphasizes safe work practices and includes responsibilities for training new team members and working closely with maintenance to avert delays in operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate mill circuits to achieve set performance parameters

• Document detailed operating information on log sheets

• Maintain high standards of site cleanliness and safety

• Provide mentorship and training to new trainees

• Support maintenance teams in equipment checks

Requirements:

• Class 5 driver’s license and high school diploma needed

• Strong problem-solving abilities in a team

• Previous experience in gold processing desired

• Proficient in computer operations, including Microsoft Office

• Effective collaboration skills in fast-paced settings
