Heavy Equipment Operator in Huron Park

Location: Middlesex (Clinton)

Make a difference at the Bluewater Recycling Association as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Located in Huron Park, you will manage the crucial operations of our Material Recovery Facility while ensuring safety and efficiency.

This position involves operating loaders, skid steers, and forklifts to support the loading and processing of recyclables. As you work under the guidance of the MRF Manager, you'll also oversee recycling processing equipment like balers and conveyor systems. Manual sorting and maintaining quality control are essential to meet our recycling goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load hoppers, compactors, and trucks using heavy machinery

• Monitor equipment operations for optimal efficiency

• Sort recyclable materials manually on the processing line

• Maintain strict quality control and contamination standards

• Adhere to safety measures while operating equipment

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating heavy equipment

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs as needed

• Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions

• Proficient in safety procedures around machinery

• Flexibility to work Monday to Friday
