Position: Experienced Manual Machinist Needed
Location: Hants County (Shubenacadie)

VELOCITY MACHINING & WELDING INC. is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist in Dartmouth, NS. Bring your minimum 5 years of experience in metal machining to our team.

You'll be responsible for accurately setting up and operating manual machining tools.

Your role includes fitting components, ensuring quality, and maintaining machinery to meet product specifications. Strong attention to detail and quality during the machining process is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up diverse manual machines for operation

• Fit and assemble machine parts with precision

• Control machining quality and implement adjustments

• Measure product dimensions using precision instruments

• Perform maintenance and lubrication of machinery

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant machining experience

• Expertise in manual lathe and mill operations

• Diligence in monitoring machine processes

• Repair skills are an asset

• Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
