Position: Metalworking Machine Operator Role
Location: West Durham Regional Municipality (Sunderland)

Join a leading machinery manufacturer as a Metal Sawing Machine Operator. This position requires hands-on experience operating metalworking machines and handling heavy materials at a noisy workplace.

We're seeking an individual with 1-2 years of experience and a high school diploma to lay out, set up, and operate various metalworking machines. You will measure and mark sheet metal accurately and document all tasks completed. Attention to detail and the ability to manage repetitive tasks are essential in this fast-paced role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate light and heavy metalworking machines

• Lay out and set up equipment for efficient operation

• Measure and mark sheet metal per templates

• Document completed work accurately

• Handle heavy materials over 45 kg (100 lbs)

Requirements:

• Completed secondary school graduation certificate

• 1-2 years experience with metalworking machinery

• Ability to stand for extended work hours

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Own transportation to work site
