Location: Belle Plaine
Join the team as a Chemical Plant Operator I and engage in vital operations like inventory and raw material handling on day shifts. You'll also transition to second shifts after initial training.
This hands-on role requires a high school diploma and emphasizes safety and precision in chemical processing. You'll be responsible for operating various equipment, managing daily inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates are prepared for both physical tasks and working in a moderately loud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Walk frequently for checks and inventory management
• Handle raw material unloading and loading tasks
• Monitor equipment operation and troubleshoot issues
• Collect and prepare samples for laboratory tests
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workspace
Requirements:
• High School Diploma necessary
• 1-2 years’ experience is advantageous
• Ability to wear a respirator and follow safety protocols
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Capability to endure temperature extremes
Your attention to detail will be essential in supporting chemical production safely and efficiently.
