Afternoon Welder at G&W Electric

Join G&W Electric as a Welder for the afternoon shift, specializing in Mig and Tig welding of complex assemblies. Use your skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to make quality components.

We are seeking a skilled Welder with at least two years of manufacturing experience and expertise in reading drawings. You'll fit and weld with different metals, using various hand tools, while maintaining safety standards. Additional responsibilities include equipment maintenance and training others in welding tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fit and weld complicated subassemblies using various tools

• Set up and regulate pressure for oxyacetylene torch

• Perform Mig and Tig welding as required

• Inspect and document work for quality compliance

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:

• 2+ years in manufacturing with formal welding training

• Experience with Mig and Tig, drawings, and measurements

• CWB certification is an asset

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle tools correctly

• Familiarity with cranes and forklifts preferred
