Position: Chemical Operator / Forklift Driver Needed

Wilbur-Ellis is hiring a Chemical Operator skilled in forklift operation and chemical handling. This role involves equipment maintenance and strict adherence to safety protocols.

As a Chemical Operator at Wilbur-Ellis, you will be responsible for various operational tasks, including loading/unloading chemicals, using production equipment, and managing inventory. The ideal candidate has a Class 1A license and experience in chemical plant operations while demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload raw materials following guidelines

• Operate forklifts and other essential machinery

• Complete daily inventory alongside the Plant Manager

• Maintain documentation complying with quality standards

• Troubleshoot and report equipment issues promptly

Requirements:

• High school diploma and Class 1A license required

• 1-2 years of experience in chemical processing preferred

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and endure temperature extremes

• Strong commitment to safety and detail-oriented

• Familiarity with electronic record-keeping
